“While Animal Scents™ Ointment is fantastic for helping cuts and scrapes heal on my horses, I also use it for several other purposes. I decided that if it is good for living skin, it should be good for leather too. I use it to condition my saddles, bridals, and all of my leather horsey stuff. It is also great for leather shoes, purses, whatever you can think of. It does not damage or change the leather, which is very important.”

It seems as though everyone likes to point out the health benefits of red wine. At least those who drink red wine…and there must be lots of them. If you enjoy red wine, more power to you. But don’t point to its health benefits as your reason for drinking it…that just makes you sound dumb and guilty. Continue reading Bogus Health Benefits of Red Wine Indicate Researchers Are Drunks
I got a call on Monday Feb 26th that my brother and sister-in-law’s baby had been born. I rushed over knowing that Lis (my sister-in-law) would have a big meal prepared. Not the case. I know something like that happens at weddings, funerals, or birthdays…haven’t got a handle on this social stuff yet. Continue reading Oily Niece Nadia Born Feb 26th, 2007
“Whenever I accidentally bite my inner cheek, tongue, or lip, I immediately dilute 1 drop of clove essential oil with 5 drops of olive oil and rub on the affected area. Discomfort is quickly relieved, and within a few hourly applications, the discomfort forgotten.” Continue reading Clove Oil to the Rescue after Oral Torture

“I use peppermint essential oil in a spray bottle to spray around my house, especially in the basement, to keep spiders away. Every couple of weeks is all that is needed.”

After viewing my Thieves website, a lady emailed recently requesting details on diluting Young Living’s Thieves Household Cleaner. I referred her to the chart at Secret Of Thieves. Apparently that wasn’t detailed enough because she wrote back asking, “What about countertops, washing clothes, etc.?” I groaned at the possibility of having to provide counseling and encouragement every time she thought of a new way to use the cleaner or forgot some minute detail between cleanings. I thought my response might be helpful to others… Continue reading Unnecessary Complexity of "Cleaning" with Poisons
“I was unable to remove the adhesive from the sales and product description tags on two new plastic folding tables. The tables were wet from the rain, which removed the paper but not the adhesive. I used all the recommended commercial and noncommercial adhesive removers, including peanut butter and ice. After applying a couple of drops of Thieves® essential oil blend and spreading it around, I wiped the powerless adhesive off the tables. No more stickiness! Thanks for a great product.”

The latest issue of Business 2.0 has an article entitled Go Green. Get Rich. It lists MRSA staph infections as the eighth biggest challenge and opportunity. Of course, they don’t know the Secret of Thieves and a large variety of essential oils that stop these (not so) superbugs in their tracts.
